We are pleased to announce the conclusion of the selection process for internships under the NanoKos project. After careful consideration and evaluation, we have successfully chosen a total of 76 participants to partake in this enriching experience. This represents a significant increase from our initial projection and reflects the overwhelming interest and enthusiasm shown by applicants. Among the selected participants, we have included 37 graduate, PhD, and postdoctoral researchers, along with 39 academic and administrative staff members.
The selected participants will have the opportunity to engage in valuable research experiences at our partner institutions, including King’s College London, the University of Milan, and the University of Parma. These internships and short visits will not only enhance their laboratory research skills but also contribute to the overall objectives of the NanoKos project.
The selection process was conducted with fairness and transparency, ensuring equal opportunities for all applicants. Rigorous evaluation criteria were applied to assess qualifications, experience, and alignment with the project’s objectives.
One of our key goals was to ensure gender balance among the selected participants, and we are proud to report that we have achieved this goal. This diversity will undoubtedly enrich the collaborative environment and foster a range of perspectives and insights.
