We are delighted to share that Mentosh Shala and Shkumbin Shala from the Hydrometeorology Institute recently completed a fruitful short visit to the University of Parma in Italy, as part of our ongoing NanoKos project.
During their visit, they participated in an intensive training program focusing on PM10 and PM2.5 particles collected from air quality monitoring filters. The training provided valuable insights into the effects of these particles on animal organs, enhancing our understanding of their impact on health and the environment.
Their experience in Parma has significantly contributed to our project’s goals, and we look forward to applying these new learnings to our research in Kosovo.
