Dr. Diar Kabashi, a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Prishtina (Resident in Gastroenterology), and a PhD Candidate in Clinical Medicine, has recently arrived at King’s College London (KCL)-Faculty of Medicine and Life Sciences (ranked worldwide 
20, place where DNA structure was discovered), as part of the NanoKos project. Dr. Kabashi was warmly welcomed by the esteemed Professor Dr. Driton Vllasaliu and the dedicated research team at KCL.
During his three-month stay, Dr. Kabashi will engage in cutting-edge research, furthering his expertise in lab and clinical medicine while contributing to ongoing projects within the NanoKos framework. His work at KCL represents a significant opportunity to enhance his research skills, collaborate with leading experts, and bring valuable knowledge back to Kosovo. This experience not only marks a new chapter in Dr. Kabashi’s academic journey but also strengthens the ties between the University of Prishtina and King’s College London, paving the way for future collaborations and advancements in the field of nanomedicine. Dr. Kabashi is the first from Kosovo to participate in this prestigious program in KCL, setting the stage for other researchers who will soon join him. His presence is also officially recognized by all structures of KCL by having an official contract and ID to have access in all facilities.
