Lately at the Department of Environmental Science and Policy, University of Milan

We are quite proud of the contributions made to the scientific community by our second round of interns, who began working in September 2024. Then, we feature PhD Student Andonita Buçinca, and graduate students Donika Peja Zagragja and Teuta Halili from the Faculty of Natural Sciences-UP (Donika and Andonita work in Integrated Resource Management in Kosovo), who are based at the Department of Environmental Science and Policy, University of Milan (Professor Beretta Lab). They are actively involved in cutting-edge research projects, gaining invaluable expertise, using various analytical techniques, and working on projects about Kosovo’s microplastic pollution and its effects on health. Their diligence and commitment to the pursuit of academic success and creativity are evident in their hard work.

This opportunity is also thanks to Prof.Beretta Lab for his supervision and support. Keep up the fantastic work!

This amazing opportunity was made possible by the European Union-funded NanoKos initiative, which promotes academic excellence and collaborative research.
