UP staff visit at Cyprus University of Technology, Limassol, Cyprus

Prof. Assoc. Bekim Gashi from the Faculty of Mathematical and Natural Sciences, University of Prishtina made a short-term visit at the beginning of November to the Plant Stress Physiology Group laboratory at the Cyprus University of Technology, Limassol, Cyprus. He has very grateful support from prof Vasileios Fotopoulos and a warm welcome with the valuable discussions shared throughout his stay. This visit allowed him to closely observe the group’s methods for evaluating the effects of #nanomaterials on #plants. Participating in lab meetings and discussions on ongoing and future projects was an exceptionally enriching experience for him. A highlight of this visit was also meeting with other colleagues from the EU, where prof Federico Vita exchanged ideas on how he can have deeper collaboration between the University of Prishtina and Università degli Studi di Bari.

He also thanked prof Gholamreza Gohari, who initiated this collaboration and has shown great appreciation for his work.

This visit was made possible by the #NanoKos project implemented by the University of Prishtina, and he extended his gratitude to donator and coordinator for providing him with this excellent opportunity.

Extending collaborators in nanoscience beyond our current partners within EU is one of the missions of NanoKos Project.
