Invitation to the NanoKos Workshop: “Research, Innovation, and Collaboration Supported by National and International Projects”

We are delighted to announce that NanoAlb-NANOBALKAN, in collaboration with the EU-funded projects SUSNANO and NanoKos, will host the workshop “Research, Innovation, and Collaboration Supported by National and International Projects” on December 16–17, 2024, in Prishtina, Kosova.

This workshop aims to highlight and discuss the scientific achievements of the NanoAlb-NANOBALKAN groups and their partners throughout 2024. It is an excellent platform to showcase advancements, foster collaboration, and explore new opportunities in the field of nanoscience.

Workshop Agenda

  • December 16, 2024:
    The first day will focus on the implementation and outcomes of the 6th NanoAlb Ignite Projects (2024–2026). Presentations will highlight the contributions of project partners and discuss potential synergies with other initiatives to maximize research impact.
  • December 17, 2024:
    The second day will feature the Quartz Forum, under the theme “Redefining Tomorrow Through Nano Innovation”. This session will emphasize the vital role of young researchers in advancing nanoscience to address global challenges.

Additionally, the workshop will include contributions from the NanoKos Project, funded by the European Commission, which focuses on capacity building in environmental and nanomedicine research in Kosova.

As part of the event, the AWIN (Albanian Women in Nanotechnology) network, a key initiative of NanoAlb-NANOBALKAN, will also be introduced.
