From babies to the elderly – every breath in Kosovo is at risk! The alarming level of air pollution in Kosovo has reached critical proportions, directly endangering public health and the country’s environmental future. With an AQI of 152 and PM2.5 particle concentrations exceeding WHO standards several times, urgent and decisive action is required. This Joint Declaration is just the first step! We will continue to raise our voices until our demands, formulated in cooperation with civil society organizations, are implemented. Air pollution is not just an environmental challenge – it is a national health emergency! It is time for effective and coordinated action to protect our right to a healthy life.
